Authorities said two girls who were abducted in Leavenworth, Kansas have been found safe and a suspect is in custody.Police said Nora Jackson, 7, and Aven Jackson, 3, were found safe by the Oklahoma Highway patrol around mile marker 6 near Erick, Oklahoma.An Amber Alert was issued for the girls after p0lice said they received a 911 call at 1:16 p.m. from an adult at a home in 14900 block of Hillside Road in rural Leavenworth. The call led deputies to discover two boys, ages 11 and 14, dead inside the home and the girls missing.Investigators said the actual time of the abduction and homicide is not known. Authorities said one of the children was supposed to be at a soccer game and a family member went to the home and found the crime scene.Police said the suspect in the abduction and double homicide is the father, Donny Jackson. He was driving a black Honda Accord with Kansas license 266MXB.In an update at 4:30 p.m., authorities said the Kansas Highway Patrol made an unrelated car stop on Jackson's car on Highway 169 near the Oklahoma border at 12:35 p.m. The abducted children were in the vehicle. It is now believed Jackson may be traveling in Oklahoma, Texas, or Arkansas. Kansas Amber Alert says there have been reported sightings of Jackson's vehicle in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Joplin, Missouri.This content is imported from Twitter.
